Hand Embroidery-A Traditional Art Form

Hand Embroidery-A Traditional Art Form……..

The art of embroidery dates back to ancient times. Decorating fabric with the needle and thread indicates that it originated actually due to lack of convenient resources, otherwise the human race has with test and times generated an idea that reduces human labor. In turn it gave birth to an art form that has no replacement in the present time also. Although the machine embroidery introduced uniformity, speed, precision, replication and above all reduced labor and costs.
This came as an advantage for the fashion conscious people from a budgeted income group. They could finally associate with the look and appeal of hand worked garment and barter for a cheaper lookalikes but better finish. I beg to differ as this was the point of satisfaction then the traditional art forms would arrive to a point of saturation. Hence there will always be a percentage of people out there who do not barter originality or traditions, not necessarily they belong to higher income group but to a culture of art and craft appreciation shared commonly.
From generations this art form has been passed on to younger, sharing the secret of invaluable beauty. The patience, intricacy, vision posture and technique involved in the procedure bears the end result “A complete Master Piece” born out of our own magical hands.
An art worth encouraging for keeping alive an ancient tradition. A Heritage Indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
